Begin your vacation by relaxing on Goa’s golden sand beaches. Relax on Calangute and Candolim beaches while eating delicious Goan cuisine. Goa is famous for its seafood, which includes succulent crabs, prawns, squids, lobsters, and oysters. The Portuguese influence on Indian cuisine is best explored here. Goa, as an ex-colony, retains Portuguese characteristics until today. Take in the sunset view from Baga Beach, a popular beach that comes alive around dusk. After breakfast, take a tour of Old Goa, which is known for its churches and cathedrals, and discover more about the Portuguese influence in India. Take a stroll through Fontainhas’ Latin Quarter. The narrow and meandering lanes, which date back to Portuguese rule, are comparable to those found in many old European cities, with antique homes and buildings with red-tiled roofs and bright balconies. Continue your day to Dona Paula Bay, where the Mandovi and Zuari rivers meet the Arabian Sea. Water sports such as yachting, swimming, parasailing, and wind surfing are popular. Spend the morning at the beach. Later, explore Fort Aguada and Lighthouse. Dating back to 1612, the fort complex sprawls over 88 acres of land overlooking the Arabian Sea and covers the entire peninsula at the tip of Bardez. Strategically located at the mouth of Mandovi River, the fort defended the Portuguese against the invasions of both the Dutch and the Marathas. Spend the rest of the day at Morjim Beach, popularly called the “Little Russia”. It is the nestling site for turtles and it also offers an opportunity to catch a glimpse of a wide variety of birds. Aside from its beaches, Goa is slowly also gaining a reputation for its Avian fauna. Tonight, discover the vibrant nightlife of the city at one of the many famous Goa clubs. You head to South Goa today to explore its white sand beaches. South Goa, in contrast to the frenetic and vibrant North Goa, inspires with its calm, vegetation, serene atmosphere, and luxury resorts. Begin your day at Mobor Beach. On the cove, walk on the silky white beach and uncover ponds with blooming lilies and coconut palms. It’s also a terrific place for adrenaline junkies to get their fix. At Mobor Beach, adventure activities include cruising to see dolphins, underwater fishing, a banana boat trip, parasailing, and water skiing. You may also go jet skiing at Majorda Beach. End the day at Varca beach, a great area to relax and from which you may take a boat ride to watch the sunset. Overnight,stay at hotel.

Spend the morning exploring the beauty and calm of Cavelossim Beach. The pristine beauty of black rocks and white sands creates a mystic charm and makes the beach an oasis of peace. Later, drive to Dudhsagar Falls located on the border of Goa and Karnataka. Dudhsagar literally means “sea of milk” and the waterfall is so named because of the crystal clear white water. Nestling amidst the deciduous forests in the Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, Dudhsagar is one of the tallest waterfalls here. Also discover Devils Canyon, Tambdi Surla Temple and Tambdi falls. Soak up the scenic view of the Mollem National Park from the Sunset Point at dusk. Return to Goa and spend the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight, stay at hotel.

Your morning is at leisure. Later, visit Loutolim and look for architectural relics of Goa’s spectacular Portuguese heritage. Loutolim is a tiny and tranquil town in South Goa with a mixed populace of Hindus and Christians. Another point of attraction is the Ancestral Goa park, which features a variety of sculptures depicting Goan culture. Casa Araujo Alvares, located opposite Ancestral Goa, is one of the numerous exquisite Portuguese mansions dating back nearly 250 years. You can examine the interior of the mansion, its furnishings, and watch a short “sound and light show” that illuminates the interior décor. Spend the evening at the beach relaxing. As your Goa holiday comes to a close spend the day soaking in the sun and relaxing on the beach. Indulge yourself with an Ayurveda massage or try out some last minute water sports.
